This Friday marks our National Day against bullying. Recently, the Prime Minister sent a letter to all schools asking them to have strong discussions about all forms of bullying. At Laurimar Primary School, we have zero tolerance for Bullying and when we know about it, we act on it. Schools are very good at educating in this space. The important thing is that these values are modelled and spoken about through all walks of the community, sporting clubs and in homes. Together we can all make a stand against bullying and in our great country, we will work towards stamping this inappropriate behaviour out....

In recent times, you would be aware of the publicity around respect for education, our schools, Principals and their staff. There seems to be an increase in the amount of occasions where parents demonstrate a high level of disrespect to education, their schools and the teaching professionals that run our schools. People need to be reminded that our school is a workplace and home to 120 employees and that all people need to be treated with a level of respect and dignity....

Dear Parents, I would like to take the opportunity to welcome and thank all of you for the positive first 3 school weeks of 2018. As we head into week four I congratulate you and your children for the way you have prepared and gone about adding to the success of our beginning to the school year. Already so many inspiring learning opportunities, getting to know you activities, incursions, excursions and sports events. One of the highlights has been the response to our Parent Information evenings and our Cyber Safety Information sessions. On behalf of our entire staff we would like to thank you for your support in ensuring the focus of our students is firmly on the learning in the classroom, making the most of every opportunity and being the best they can be....
