Summary

As we are greeted by this glorious Spring Weather, who can believe that we are approaching the half way mark of Term 4 2017 so much hard work already invested by our students into their learning and our teachers commitment in the classroom. For our year 6 students they enter the final 30 days of their Primary School lives and we wish them all the best of luck as they continue to prepare for the transitional phase into year 7....

One of the most important events on our school calendar each year is our pivotal Community Safety Day for the entire school. All students engaged in a vast array of pertinent safety messages involving lessons from the CFA, Victorian Police, self defence, responsible pet ownership and cyber safety all promoting strong messages about community safety....

Summary

Welcome back to all our wonderful families to what will be another productive Term 4 at Laurimar Primary School. I trust that all of our beautiful families have enjoyed a restful break or holiday over the spring as we arrive back to be greeted to some lovely weather. This term is always such a terrific opportunity for learning with almost 30% of the school year remaining over the 11 weeks available. Alongside quality ‘Teaching and Learning’ is an abundance of extracurricular and celebratory opportunities for our students. For the first time in our 9-year history, it will also include our Christmas Twilight Town Fair that includes Carols in the evening. I ask you all to join our hard working staff and students in making this our most successful Term 4 ever at Laurimar Primary School....

Summary

Congratulations to the Laurimar Primary School community on a successful Term 3 A memorable team effort amongst students, parents and teachers has ensured a very productive term which has lead to great learning every day combined with the involvement of all students in many extra curricular programs. Nearly 1000 students from year 1-6 have completed our 2017 Camping Program, School Production, Athletics, Excursions, Incursions, Tournament Of The Minds, Footy Day, Jetts Running Challenge and many other exciting events...
